    Multi-cavity mould tooled to the rib end profile; a cap that is loose will fall off and let the rib puncture the canopy.

    PP or PE injected, TPE for soft versions. Colour is matched to the frame or the canopy.

    Deflashing

    Gate burr removed; sharp edges on a tip cap are a safety defect.

    Pull-off test

    Caps are pressed onto ribs and pulled. A cap pulled off in service exposes a sharp rib end.
