    Tube cutting

    One-piece tube is cut to finished length, typically 80-90 cm for a stick umbrella. Square cut ends are required for handle and ferrule seating.

    Hole punching & end forming

    Spring seat hole, latch window and the anti-rotation slot are punched; the handle end is formed or crimped for a positive handle fit.

    Deburring & pre-treatment

    Deburring and degreasing before finishing; the inner wall must be clean because the opening spring runs inside the tube.

    Surface finishing

    Chrome or nickel plating, black electrophoresis or powder coating. Stick umbrellas show more bare metal, so finish uniformity is visible to the buyer.
